From its beginnings, it concentrated its activities in the field of graphic arts, standing out mainly in government stamp printing and commercial printing. In 1986 it was acquired by the brothers Eduardo A. León Asensio, Fernando A. León Asensio, Guillermo León Asensio, and José A. León Asensio, the main shareholders.

​Two years later, the Administration decided to eliminate the line of government stamps and reorient its production lines towards the segment of labels for industrial use. In this market, it stands out as a pioneer in the Dominican Republic in the production of metallic labels.

​A considerable investment in machinery and equipment at the forefront of the most advanced technology applied to the graphic arts, together with the construction of new buildings in accordance with world standards, enabled the sustained growth of the Company to become a reality.

In the constant search to offer a comprehensive service and taking advantage of the diversification opportunities offered by the market, a new production line was introduced in 1995: Lightweight (folding) cartons. This allowed to significantly expand production and sales volumes for the national and international market.

​Following the course of the changing needs of its customers and with the vision of providing packaging solutions, in 2000 the company management decided to expand the range of its offerings, venturing into the printing of flexible packaging in rotogravure.
